Getting identity checks right

In October 2017, the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) introduced identity checking guidance to align the DBS process with Right to Work checks. The changes have been fully operational since 29th December 2017. The document requirements have been tightened for non-EEA nationals taking on paid work and applying for DBS checks so that they are consistent with the existing Right to Work document list.
