We’ve Moved – TrustID Expands into New Office

The Blade - TrustID office

Due to our increased growth over the last several months, TrustID has relocated to The Blade, the iconic building in Abbey Square, Reading. As we’ve seen increased demand in our services, the move reflects TrustID’s continued success.

As one of the first Identity Service Providers (IDSPs) to be granted Home Office certification for our digital Right to Work (RtW), Right to Rent (RtR) and Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checks, our move into larger premises reflects the need to accommodate our expanding operations and workforce due to the increased demand of our services.

Following several lockdowns and the Covid-19 pandemic, the UK has seen high employment rates, which has led to an increased number of RtW checks. As we work with over 2000 organisations, including 400+ recruitment agencies, over 80 NHS Trusts and the majority of the leading high street hospitality brands, including Fullers, Cote Restaurant Group, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Papa Johns, as well as many leading Application Tracking System (ATS) providers who include Right to Work checking service in their employee onboarding journey. Our timely move allows us to be able to continue providing a high level of support to our partners.

Changes in Home Office guidance are also fueling the increase in demand for digital ID checks. From 1 October 2022 the government have ended the temporary Covid-adjusted measures and require Right to Work and Right to Rent checks to be carried out by an IDSP, such as TrustID, or for original documents to be physically verified. This is in line with the Government’s Roadmap for a Digital future which will see many public services digitised by 2025. You can find out more about digital RtW checks by downloading our guide.

TrustID CEO, Tony Machin, has said, “For us, this office move is a big step in our company’s development. TrustID is growing very quickly and is becoming one of the leading experts in the identity verification space. This office move will facilitate further growth and help us to continue to deliver our market leading products and customer service. We believe a lot of our success is down to being located in Reading where there is a great pool of talent to join our growing team.”

We are very excited about the move and the next step for the business. Make sure you’re following us on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook to stay up to date with news and updates from TrustID.

As of 22nd August 2022, our address is The Blade, Abbey Street, Reading RG1 3BA.
